Whether you are a professional, self-employed, in business, a homemaker, or in any job, we all need to be motivated. As human beings, we have our own limitations despite the work, knowledge, money, and materials we possess. Contentment, peace, serenity, and happiness are also crucial. in this article i tried to shedding Light on “Inspiring Self-Development: A Journey into 2024”
We all make mistakes, feel lost, lack determination, experience laziness, or face unhealthy habits at some point in life. However, we rise again; we fall but stand up.Most of the time, we don’t need extrinsic motivation because we have intrinsic motivation. If we have the courage to accept the things, we have done wrong, we can learn and grow.
To be self-motivated, reading helps us significantly. When we read anything, whether about living or non-living matter, it teaches us something. When we read, we experience every emotion presented in that book, whether positive or negative. Those feelings teach us how to be and how not to be.
As humans, we are often more reactive than proactive. We tend to react to almost everything, be it people or situations. However, both interactions teach us valuable lessons. People teach us how to be or how not to be, while situations test our control over our minds. How we react to situations reflects our character.
A long back I had read a story who wrote this I don’t know I just read in the newspaper.
Story
In a small house, there lived a family—a father, a mother, and their two kids (a boy and a girl). One busy morning, everyone was in a rush. The mother was making breakfast, the kids were getting ready for school, and the father was preparing for work.
When breakfast was prepared, the mother gathered everyone at the table. They quickly took their seats. However, as the daughter sat down, she accidentally toppled the sauce bottle, causing it to spill all over her father’s shirt. His frustration escalated, leading to him raising his voice at everyone. Without having breakfast, he abruptly left the house. As a result, the children went to school without eating, and the mother also skipped her breakfast.
The whole day felt gloomy. The daughter’s mistake wasn’t intentional—it was just an accident. But the father’s reaction could have been different. Maybe he could have forgiven her instead of shouting. Life sometimes throws unexpected situations at us, but how we handle them is what matters
Life teaches us valuable lessons, much like the changing weather. When it rains, we can’t stop the rain, but we adapt by using an umbrella. Similarly, people and situations come into our lives, often beyond our control. However, our reactions are our choice. They reveal who we truly are. What we think we become.
